I made a purchase from another website and do not understand why I'm being charged from google google.com/chcaus. I know it's only a dollar but it's my dollar. Does this mean that they now have access to my financial information ?

Just found the same charge except mine is for "Google Google.com/ch"
$1 only. Unauthorized charge. -

I just researched it a bit more and found that it is something of a "pending" charge. If you purchased an app or anything recently, the $1 shows up before (or after in my case) until the actual charge goes through. See the last comment in this thread: http://www.google.pl/support/forum/p/checkout-merchants/thread?tid=6b6284869735f05e&hl=en

- I see the same thing, but it was 2 separate charges: $12.99 and $8.98 on the same day. I've never purchased anything from Google Play and I've only had a smartphone for about a month...
