FedeX dropped my new 35 lb. Sentry safe over a 5 foot wrought iron gate onto a cement sidewalk while I watched from an upstairs window. They left the delivery notice without any mention of the drop. The safe was damaged so bad it would no longer close. I called FedeX and talked to the deliverer`s supervisor, he apologized. There was never any denial that it happened. I filed a case with FedeX and they responded by saying I needed to obtain a release of liability from the sender (the sender will not provide this) instead, he refunded the original cost and filed his own case with FedeX. Being that I bought this through an Ebay auction, I can`t replace it for what I spent. I asked FedeX to replace either the safe or what it would cost to replace it with no results. This, to me is a case of fraud by the deliverer not leaving notice that he dropped the safe. This all happened before the famous "Viral video" came out last month.
