The person Maxwell Clayton connect with me via Chemistry.com. We exchanged emails over a few weeks during which he was very charming and convinced me that he was in love with me. Then he was supposed to go on a business trip to Germany and South Africa. After he was in South Africa for a week he claimed to have his belongings stolen from him and asked me to send money to help him out. At first he asked for $2000 for living cost for 2 weeks. Then he asked for $1500 to pay hotel bills, finally he asked for another $1500 to pay for changing flights but I refused. He then changed the amount to $600.
