I purchased my roundtrip from Austin, Tx. to Seattle Wa., a ticket that i prepaid from Cheapoair.com on March 15 2012... @ $629.00 + 46.70 in taxes & fees for a toatl of 670.70. I then had a notice that the air fair for my roundtrip ticket costs on United Airlines has gone down to $352.00 for the same round trip on the same airline. When I called Cheapoair customer service I had someone I don't think it was from this country (reading from what was obviously a script)...grill me on all my personal information only then to tell me that they can't help me out. That if I had a problem that I had to call the airlines direct - even though I booked thru Cheapoair!... this company is stealing your & my money!...DO NOT make the same mistake I did ...only use EXPEDIA or someother reputable online booking source... CHEAPOAIR IS A RIPOFF!

  • After posting my initial disappointing response from Cheapoair.com I recieved a few emails with some attempts to help resolve my airline fare discrepency....slowly but surely Cheapoair started stepping up tothe plate (after I had to do the work with United Airlines get my cost reduction etc. Customer service & a manager really started providing excellent customer service and apologized & is continuing to work with me to make my flight finalized. They are taking the time to review my information & Uniteds information & really trying to make things right. I simply indicated that is all I wanted for someone to help me when I made that first call. Someone to actually have interest in helping me. They are doing so now & really are trying to make things right. Thank you Sydney
