  • You Should contact your credit card company and inform them about this fraudulent advertising scam of recurring transactions as soon as possible.

  • Advice as above. Visa or Mastercard debit/credit cards should have procedures that you can set in motion to get your money back. When it comes to these "rolling" payments taken from DEBIT cards, banks always seem to say they can't do anything to stop them and you must contact the company. Apparently bank employees appear to be ignorant of the fact that this is completely wrong information. What you can do in the short term is cancel the debit/credit card you used to obtain the "free trial" (tell the bank it is lost), that should stop the scammers taking any further payments from your account, and you should get a new card within 5-7 days. If this wasn't to solve your problem you can get help from the Financial ombudsman service (in the UK), who can deal with your bank and educate them about the fairly new regulations regarding these "rolling" card payments, and the power the banks do in fact have to stop them.
