I applied for a small loan from My Pay Day Loan express. They called me, claiming that the $14.95 was for a special offer for a savings club that also guaranteed I would be approved for the loan. I told them I did not want to do it unless I would get the loan first, since I obviously could not afford an additional expense. I tried to get a supervisor on the phone to either confirm that I would get the funds in the order promised or cancel the whole thing. I was told that someone would call me back, which never happened. I called back and was told the same thing. I ended up going to my bank to close the account to keep them from taking the fee. Due to an error by the bank, the fee was processed, causing an ISF fee of $34 as well. I had to go back to the branch to straighten out the matter. The view of the check says it's paid to the order of First Gold Plus, with My Pay Day Express on the memo line. When I looked for the company online, I couldn't find any way to contact them.
