a message was sent to my cellular telephone. when i opened the message to read it, i was notified that my TracPhone cellular account had been charged 30 seconds. the message stated that 'your entry last month has won! go to http://www.bestbuy.com.gpgc.biz.' no such website.
another message i was sent reads: 'you've been chosen to win a $1000 WalMart gift card. but only the 1st 1,000 users that enter code 777 at: walmarthere.mobi will receive it. again, my TracPhone account was charged 30 second to read the message. no such website.
i appears that either TracPhone is making money off of this, and/or may be kicking back to the stores whose names they use. other suggestions???
