I took a loan out from Discountadvances.com on 5/30/12. On the date the money was deposited into my checking account, I withdrew the amout of the loan in the amount of $350. The next day I checked my balance on-line in my checking account to find out they had charged me a $30 fee. Thus, bouncing my checking account. No where in application,
terms of agreement, or the representive stating anything about this fee.
My loan repayment date was June 21, 2012.
On June 18,2012 I received a phone call from attny Michael Carter from California. Who's Number was given by "California Fraud & Investigation Bureau" ironically SAME NUMBER TO CALL MR.CARTER BACK AT!!!!!!!!!!
Called Mr. Carter who was very rude and beliddling. Stated he was hired by Discount Advances due to the fact payment was DENIED by my bank. He was issuing a Nation Wide Warrent for my arrest! And loan payback magically went from $415 to "$598"
In all, I had to repay the loan of $415 five days earlier then scheduled, was charged $30 from company, then $37.50 bounced check fee from my bank.
To anyones attention DO NOT ACCEPT a loan from this company. They even admitted during phone call--The same thing happened to an elderly lady who paid "Michael Carter" $700 + still had to repay loan.
