International boundaries

In April 2010 I signed a 2-year agreement with Comcast for telephone and internet service. After satisfying the original contract terms, I decided to switch service providers in June of 2012. When I attempted to close my account with Comcast, I was told that my contract was "automatically" extended for another year. When I told the Comcast person that there is no mention of an automatic extension provision in the agreement text, she said it was covered on their terms and conditions web page, which was referenced in the agreement text. This is a deceptive practice designed to trap their customers and bind them to Comcast's uncompetitive rates.
