I ordered the "magic" derma science products via Facebook on May 20, 2012. I was informed that I still qualify for the "free trial", and the product will be shipped to me. Needless to say, the product never arrived! After enquiring, I was told it has been shipped. I was infromed that the trial period was extended to June 30, 2012. Stil no product arrived. On Saturday evening, June 30, 21:15 I received an sms stating that my Visa card is being debited with R767,34. I realised that there was something wrong, and cancelled the card. On Monday, July 2, I phoned the customer care number, a South Africa number, and got thru to someone in the USA. They assured me that the order has been cancelled, and I have received an email to that effect. It sickens me that I have to now apply for a new card, report the fraud to my bank, etc. I am horrified to read all the reports, and wish these guys will be brought to book! This is scary - White Collar Cyber Crime!!! Valuable lesson learnt - buy well known, tried and tested products, available in stores.
