I originally signed up and gave information to search for my biological father. I received email on June 28 saying account was activated giving me until 7/6/12 to cancel. As I was in the midst of cancelling, I lost power and could not get back on internet to see if the cancellation was confirmed. Did the same thing today and then got call from bank (I have alerts for charges set on account) telling me my account was charged yesterday. I sent email explaining situation and the automated response was basically, yes you cancelled and will have access until July 2013. I don't want access I need the refund. I received no credible 'hits' in finding my father and decided after seeing new increased cost of medical that it would have to wait. I even told them to pro rate it for the one day as I was unable to complete the cancellation yesterday. Absent a refund, I will contact bank.
