As with the other stories referenced on this page for Alan Smith (Swift) was also contacted via email from him on the match.com dating website. My story is as the others referenced here and I am soo glad I researched this further. He is indicating to me now that he is in the UK for his work with the United Nations. I knew something wasnt right with him. He would continuously email and text me then disappear for a few days with no communication. I kept trying to reference him online, but, nothing would show up for him under Alan Smith for his profession as a Orthopedic surgeon.

Hi Cheryl. Sounds like you were lucky enough to find out sooner rather than later.
I have been trying to upload photos and a copy of the UN emails and Leave Request form, but have been having trouble with the website. Pictures of "Alan Smith" include one in Itally in front of a fountain, one in front of a mosaic tile design, one in a beach chair, one in Austrailia, one in front of a high story window overlooking a crowded third world city supposed to be Milan, and a black & white photo in front of a computer. -

Hi there, yes those are the same photos I also have. Really wish I knew how people can sleep at night and play with someone's emotions so freely. Thank you for posting this, otherwise, I would have never known for sure that he was a scammer and has a history of doing this before. I truly appreciate the time you took to post your story and I wish you the best going forward. I think we both deserve it after this ordeal.
