I'm a freelance translator. James Neel contacted me and asked to translate an article. I gave him my rate of $700.00 He agreed. I completed and sent him the assignment. A few days later I received a check for $2900.00 Now he is calling me every day.
I assume his scheme is the following: he wants me to cash the check that doesn't belong to him and ask me to send him the difference. After the company who belongs this check cancels the payment I'll loose my money. Please suggest further actions.
