I was looking for a box set of The Andy Griffith Show on Amazon and somehow this website SpicyDVD.com popped up with a good price. Without checking into it I went to their site and ordered the set.
Upon receiving the set it looked nothing like the advertised packaging online. Many of the DVDs didn't work properly or just couldn't be read at all and the video quality was sub par (leading me to think they are compressed). I emailed SpicyDVD.com support and they replied "I will contact my supplier and get you a replacement", as that is what I wanted. I never heard anything again.
There was no return address on the box and there is no info on where they are located at their website. Also there are no direct contact phone numbers or names; just [email protected]. I did a google search and others have had identical experiences with them. This site probably downloads the data and obviously pirates these videos. They are not advertising any more on Amazon so I think that they have been kicked off. The name CW Marketing appears on your credit card statement but this is just a front. Unfortunately there is someone who uses the above name for her business and she has been victimized by these idiots.
Please beware.
