My husband called and placed an order. I became suspicious when they kept asking him to repeat his card number. I checked our checking account online and they had withdrawn $67.08 before he even got off the phone with them. I checked the phone number and found many complaints against NME. I immediately called our bank to dispute the charge and canceled the card so no further withdrawals could be made.

  • If your husband placed the order, that was the payment for it. However, the money might not have been withdrawn yet. A company will very often send out a feeler or put a hold on money, something like that, to make sure it is there. That might have been what your husband found. However, of course, if the order were to have gone through, then the payment would have been taken.
