www.anne-shoes.com is a SCAM site! The phone number (868-960-5383) does not work, the email listed on the site ([email protected]) bounces, the email sent to me by Paypal ([email protected]) never responded. Clearly they are collecting money and not sending items, hoping people will not bother to fight.

They collect money via Paypal. If you complain to Paypal about non-receipt of the item, then Anne-shoes will (finally) send an envelope from China (like on a slow boat from China) with a tracking number and then you get it and it is... a small, cheap, sponge! To get a refund, they want you to return the "package" (i.e. the small cheap sponge) back to China via a tracking number!!

I worked with Paypal and I was refunded for my purchase, but I want to shut them down.

Here's what happened: I ordered Stride Rite Yasmine size 8 shoes on 2/15/2012 from http://www.anne-shoes.com and paid on the same day via Paypal (http://www.anne-shoes.com/stride-rite-srt-yasmine-infanttoddler-whitemulti-p-2351.html). I waited a week for a response for shipping info and when I finally tried to contact the company I found the phone number didn't work and delivery to the customer service email ([email protected]) failed.

So, I complained to Paypal and finally, after the 30 day waiting period, I got a tracking number from anne-shoes for my "package" (which was not a package of shoes, but a very small envelope, containing a 5 cent sponge)!

Then when I complained to Paypal, via the on-line complaint form, about the item I received, I was told I had to return it back to China to get my refund. I called Paypal instead and they refunded my money.

I think many people wouldn't bother fighting for a $20 item, so this scammer is racking in the money. But I want to report it!
