I entered a trial with Slimtone plus and Body cleanse and was supposed to only pay £2.49 2x.
There were conditions attached to this offer: If not wanted the product had to be cancelled within 2 weeks of ordering and the remainder had to be returned within 3 weeks of ordering. I fulfilled both those requirements. I had to ring up to cancel and to be given 'return numbers'. I even received two e-mails to confirm my cancelations. But on the 25th of September Slim tone using my account information withdrew £75 from my account ans Body cleanse did the same to the tune of £37.50. This caused my account to be overdrawn and I incurred a fine. I then e-mailed both companies and received an automated reply telling me they would respond to me in 72 hours. I cannot find their so-called customer service number so if anyone can help me with that I would be grateful. To add insult to in jury, the products are totaly useless. In their ads they show newspaper articles recommending theit product. Do newspapers really want to be connected to this scam? My bank has advised me to block my bank card and get a new one to stop them from withdrawing any more funds which I now have. Is there anything we can do to expose this scam ?
