This person claimed to be interested in buying a vehicle from me that I had posted on a Kijiji website. He said he worked overseas, and would want the truck to be delivered over there to him. He said he would pay the extra funds for shipping, on top of the money value for the truck, and it would be paid through PayPal. I opened a PayPal account and awaited further instructions from them about the transaction. This scammer was pretending to be the buyer, AND PayPal. The links in the e-mails, the transaction codes, and PayPal ID numbers are all stolen from the PayPal website, and I was completely convinced that it was PayPal e-mailing me. I sent the 1,602.00 to the "courier coming to pick up the truck", and when I was asked to send MORE money, I knew I had been scammed and my heart sank. This was my savings for a new vehicle, as I am 8 monthspregnant and can't put my newborn child in a small truck like that. I'm devastated, and STILL feel sick to my stomach, I need help catching this theif so I can move on with my life, and hopefully have a full night's sleep while I can.
