Today, $29.95 was deducted from my account by My Money Leaf. I did NOT authorize a deduction of any sort. I don't even know who they are!!!!
I called and the first thing you hear is that if you are seeking a refund, go to www.mlhelp.org. Well, I did that. Of course, that website solicits you to apply for a loan.
I called back and spoke to a rep. SHe stated that I applied for a payday loan with another company. I did. However, I decided not to accept. I denied. it. The rep stated that once I denied, my informaiton was forwarded to them so they could try to get me to accept or apply or a loan, therefore charging me an application fee of $29.95.
I demanded a refund and was told that it would take 3-5 business days. I was given a confirmation number and I requested that an email be sent confirming my refund and removal from their list.
I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.
