I told them to take me off their call list, but they refuse to. I get several calls a night, pleading, even being mean to me saying how they don't understand why I'd pass up the free grants I have been approved of.

I explained what a scam is. He said that It was not a scam, it'd be less than four dollars. They keep saying if it were a scam don't you think we'd ask for more than four dollars? I explained that I'm not an idiot, that they will charge me more than that. And that if all they were going to charge was three dollars, they wouldn't be so freakishly upset that I didn't want to pay their acct set up. Here's the scam part though, all these guys, with thick foreign accents claimed that they were approved by the US government. They even swore up and down they wouldn't try for more money than that, that there were no membership fees, etc. They also said that there was no option to do it on the internet that I HAD To do it over the phone. So I was like, Look, in the US we are taught not to give our credit card over the phone to people who call us. Every time, like off a script, they say that they understand that, and that's why their phone conversation is recorded. I'm like, Look, I can't even understand what you're saying, so please stop calling me. One guy got really mad and said it would be a huge mistake. I was just like, I don't care, stop it. Stop calling me. Take me off your call list. It hasn't stopped though. They blew up my phone today again.It's a cell phone and they call at crazy hours. They are driving me crazy and I consider what they are doing harassment at this time because they continue to call after I've told them no and to take my phone number off their list.
