I saw Flex Seal ad on TV for 2 cans of Flex Seal for $19.99 plus shipping. I went online to thier website to place order. I was expecting my bill would be about $30.00. In the process of ordering they do not give you a view of what you are committing to until the order is already placed. I was shocked to find that i had ordered 4 cans of Flex Seal for $39.98 plus $39.80 shipping plus $6.78 Tax. They gave me no chance to review and approve the order before it was placed.
I tried to contact them through customer service, but they were closed for the long Memorial day weekend. and there was no one to talk to. They were contacted as soon as thier phone were active on Tuesday morning at 8:00 AM. They claimed the order was already shipped, but I could return unwanted product. The shippment arrived 6/7/11. I could have paid to return 2 cans I did not want, but would have gotten back only $19.99 and would have paid about $10 shiiping which they would not refund. It just did not seem worth the trouble, so I kept the 4 cans.
I think thier practices are terrible. They are ripping customers off.

- Alas I was scammed the say way today. I was expecting a summary - and the scam is that Flex Seal then jumps you right to the confirmation page. The scam is definitely intentional because they do not answer the phone when you call - to correct your order. So the trouble you had on the phone was not just because of the weekend. When I called today, I could not get a human being but was funneled to an autobot that only allows you to enter your information to buy yet more product. And when you contact them by mail - they do not reply. Flex Seal is a scam. TV networks should not broadcast advertising for scammers.
