Last night I checked my account balance online and discovered there was a $30.00 check made out to CheckProcess in favor of Loan Tree Advance from my account. I have never authorized this check nor have I ever visited their website. I called them this morning to discuss after I contacted my bank for the fraudulent charge and they said that I applied for a loan with them and the $30.00 is a fee for that loan. I DID NOT apply for a loan with them. They must obtain your information from 3rd-party resources. This is illegal and they should be stopped! Their tactics are dishonest. They make it look as if you wrote the check (by entering into your account). The whole crew even the receptionist that answers their phone at 866-789-3108 should be arrested. These economic times are rough on everyone, this is an outrage, taking advantage of innocent people.
