Like many others, I signed up for a free trial, agreeing to pay postage only (2 payments of £3.09 taken from Mastercard 27th Aug which I am not reclaiming.) On 17 Sept a further £62.56 was taken without my permission, in payment for these goods. This was followed by charges of £63.49 and £63,35 on 1st and 7th Oct, for further products that I had not ordered and did not want. This second mailing seemed to have come from Germany. I have not yet opened any of the products, but even if I had, I surely don't need them in this quantity!

The card company said I had to pay these amounts because of a clause in Liso Skin's 'small print' that I had not seen, but they would stop any further transactions. Currently there is a further package awaiting me at the post office for which I am being asked to pay £20.17 customs charge (on top of the expected payment for the contents, which Mastercard should block.) I do not intend to collect the package, in which case they will return it to the sender who will then have no right to charge me for it.

Whilst this manner of trading may not actually be illegal, it is certainly totally unethical, and the sooner they can be stopped, the better.
