Complaint 177002 Details

I saw a facebook post from a friend about a product she was using that was really helping her to lose weight. I ordered the product - Raspberry Ultra Drops - based on her comments and paid $109.94 on a credit card to "Energiz" on 11/7/12. On 11/9/12, my card was charged by the same company for an additional $3.30 with description "international fee". I contacted my friend and was disappointed to learn that she did not post that information and that this company had hijacked her facebook account. I received the product today, in an envelope with no letter or invoice or paper of any kind inside the envelope, nothing but the product itself. After researching it online I now realize that this is a scam and I have allowed myself to be ripped off or $113.24. The worst part of this is, I never, ever trust online advertising for these products. The way that this company hooked and reeled me into their dummy tank is by their dishonest and disruptive practice of hijacking facebook accounts, such as that of my friend. After reading the complaints of other consumers who were fooled by this company's lack of ethics in advertising, I now realize that I am basically out my $113.24 because surely there is no money back guarantee as their ad so explicitly promises.
