We applied for a free credit report and we were charged $1 on Aug 21,2012, $17.95 on Aug 28, 2012 and $17.95 on Sept. 29, 2012. We did not authorize any credit reports other than the FREE credit report. We phone American Express and denied the charges because we only wanted the free report and did not authorize any monthly credit reports. We have been told to have our credit checked once a year and that it was free. American Express told us to contact EXPERIAN, but when we try to do that we cannot find any 'Customer Service' phone numbers or e-mail information. They just want you to apply for another credit report.
