Well, I ordered a laser from 'Texas Laser Instruments' (www.texaslaserinstruments.com) at 8:34pm on the night of November 5th, 2012. It says on the website that typical "processing time" takes 2 days max. Well, every day since November 5th, I've been checking the "order status" under my account on the site.. and its said "Processing" ever since November 5th.

So, I was just thinking maybe they forgot to switch the "status" over to "shipped". So, I tried emailing calling the number that they have posted at the top right-hand corner of their website, during their posted "open hours" and nobody answered. So, I was then thinking to myself.. "well, maybe they're just busy or not near the phone." So, I try again 30 minutes later.. still no answer, just a pre-recorded machine that picks up. So, I leave them a message telling them who I was and that I had ordered a laser from them and was just simply wanting to check on the status of my order and hung up. I waited 4 days and nobody returned my phone call.. so I tried calling again, but, I got the same results as before, no answer.. just a pre-recorded machine picking up.

So, at this point in time.. I'm getting alittle worried about this. So, I try emailing them at their so-called "support" email.. and after a week.. I didn't get ANY reply back from them.

As of today, November 19th, 2012.. it has been exactly 14 days since I made my purchase from 'Texas Laser Systems' and I have yet to get an email reply or a return phone call from them. So, basically.. I'm thinking I got ripped off for the $140!!

The saddest part about this whole experience is the laser was for my son for Christmas this year. He's really been wanting one and now that I think he's old enough to get one, its like I can't find a reputable website to order one from without getting ripped off!

I even contacted 'Volusions.com', which is the hosting company for www.TexasLaserSystems.com and they told me flat-out, that they couldn't do anything about it, even though I had just told them that they're hosting a scam website!! I mean, REALLY?! Are you kidding me??! They told me that I would have to contact their (Volusions) legal department.

What's going to happen is, is Volusions is going to soon enough find out that they're messing with the wrong person because my father is a well respected and well known Judge here in town (now retired) and my brother in-law owns/operates a well repsected and reputable litigation company. So, I mean.. if they want to play games and take the legal route, well, to be polite about it.. we can play that game.

But anyhow, stay AWAY from www.TexasLaserSystems.com - COMPLETE SCAM!
