I was contacted by a gentleman named Richard Cooper, who told me that my loan application had been approved. He instructed me to buy a UKash voucher for £60. He told me that once this was done I would receive my loan paid into the account along with a £60 refund. I phoned the number given to me, but Mr. Cooper was not available, so someone else took the call. He told me that the UKash voucher should have been for £80 not £60. I told him that I had already bought a £60 voucher and he agreed that it was enough. I gave him the code and he said the money would be in my account by 09:00 the following morning. The following day I called them when the money didn't show in my account. Once again Mr. Cooper was unavailable. The guy I spoke to said the money was not issued because I needed to pay £150 in taxes! I told him that I hadn't been informed of this and that I didn't have that money to pay. He said he'd speak to the team dealing with it and get back to me. I asked him to get Mr. Cooper to call me to discuss the problem. Later that evening, after waiting for the call and not receiving one, I called again to find out what was happening. The same guy told me again that I had to pay £150 taxes. I told him that I'd have to withdraw my application. He told me he'd speak to Mr. Cooper and get him to call me. I've received no further calls, and since then I've not been able to contact the company using the phone number I was given.
