I purchased two Living Social vouchers through the Australian website for Hong Kong: Cosmopolitan Hotel Wan Chai including Round-Trip Flights via Virgin Australia for a total of $3,298.00 in Australian Dollars on 16th October, 2012. On 15th November, 2012, Travelsmoove was supposed to be open online for customers who purchased the deal to request their travel dates and redeem their vouchers. The website was down and it said it was currently "going under maintenance". I contacted both Travelsmoove and Living Social on 15th November, 2012. Travelsmoove said they would get back to me within "5 working days" but I never got a response. Living Social said I needed to wait and see, as they had no control over Travelsmoove. After two additional attempts with Travelsmoove and Living Social, I was able to speak to a Living Social customer representative on the telephone. After a long wait, he was able to grant me a full refund back to my credit card. He says it will take 7 days to process and I shall receive an email confirming our conversation and my refund details. I really hope I get my refund. After reading all these horror stories on this site, I definitely will not be purchasing any more big ticket items through Living Social. The risk (and stress) is just not worth it. Thank you.
