a friend of mine recieved a check in the mail and deposited it in the bank and the bank called her back and said the check was either invalid or tampered with. Now the bank is wanting the money back after she has spent some of it.

- I have been helping research this scam recently and have found several things that link it to a bank in Canada that is connected to a parent bank in Georgia(USA) that has debt over 7.7M yet is still trying to claim they are in the good standing yet is not affiliated with the BBB and the ratings on the BBB website show an F scoring with bad reviews and several complaints involving $1783.20 involving the person to use a bank to withdraw the funds and to spend funds on things but send any remaining funds bank to either other countries or states, I will continue to research this company any any others i think may be connected to this scam and hopefully help the victims get the scammers arrested and get victims compensated for any damages caused by the scammers taking advantage of people who really needed money but got the perverbial shaft.
