I received a call at my job from (916)941-5162 stating that I owed over $3000 for a payday loan. The man's accent was so strong that I was really struggling to understand him.
I made out that I was to call David Cooper or Mark Victor regarding the issue immediately. When I called the number, another man answered stating some law office. He gave me a case number and told me that I had 3 charges against me and that I was going to be arrested.
The more questions that I asked, he started to shut down. He told me to contact an attorney and my local sheriff's office...lol!!! I felt that it was some type of scam. I don't like that they have all of my personal information though.
