I received a call from a recovery service PDLRG saying they were recovering an un re-payed loan that was granted to me by Global Group Loans in April of 2011. While I did at the time try to secure an online payday loan, I never closed on such loan, never received money wired in to my bank account and instead went through a local storefront in my city. They were threatening immediate checking account garnishment ( this info they had from the loan application). I was given two options by PDLRG after I explained I had never received such loan; ONE- to refuse to pay and fight the "full amount" of interest and payments and late payments of over $1200 ( on a supposed $300 loan) in court or TWO: Pay a reduced fee of $291 and then receive a "letter of satisfaction" and then take my dispute and proof of no loan granted to Global Group Loans to try and recover my money. I have absolute proof from my bank that $300 was never wired in to my account spanning 4/2011-6/2011. I have no emails or paper mail setting up a repayment schedule of the alleged loan. I am in the process of waiting for my "letter of satisfaction" to begin the process of trying to recover my $291.

I'm not sure who to pursue so I'm filing a complaint on both.
