A man came to my mother in laws home without an appt to change all her dish network boxes. She told him that her boxes were working fine but he insisted that it had to be done. She allowed him in the house, he replaced 2 boxes and kind of replaced the 3rd but didn't hook it up at all. When leaving, he insisted she give him $50 in cash. When she told him she didn't have cash, he told her she would need to go to the ATM but she didn't have a card, so he finally took a check. After being told, I called Dish and found out that Satton called and set her up to replace her boxes and then replaced her boxes and this is a Free service, so he kept her $50 but shouldn't have charged. Dish has cancelled the new contract and is looking into the matter but we will be filing a BBB complaint and a police report.
