I was selling my Iphone on donedeal.ie and put my mobile number on it and was contacted by james brown aka Olowu Bodunde who stated he was in the navy and wanted to buy a phone for his son Olowu Bodunde. He told me he would pay me through paypal and even sent me a false letter from paypal stating that his funds to pay for my phone were being held by paypal until i produced proof of postage of the phone. The false letter was very convincing and I fell for it. I got suspicious and rang Paypal and told me I had been scammed. I sent Paypal a copy of the scam letter. And of course I was devasted. I rang the General Post Office in Dublin because the package was registered but they said once the package left Irish jurisdiction that they could do nothing about it.
