A while ago my PC started running very slow and started receiving these unwated pop-ups. I called ITechline and they charged me a one-time repair fee of $99. They said the PC is clean now and that they will install a firewall on my network to protect all future problems. Sure enough, I started receiving the same issues again. When I called, they charged me another $99 fee. A few days later, I started having the same issues, when I called again, they wanted another $99 fee. I argued and they finally agreed to fix the problem and suggested I get an anti-virus software. As soon as they "fixed all the issues" I went ahead and purchased Norton. However, Norton would not install due to an existing virus. Now, I keep calling them and cannot get a live customer support person.
Save you money and take it to Geeksquad. Deal with locals and none of these overseas tech support companies as most are rip-offs.
