I sent my laptop to Authorized Laptop Repair in September 2012 as I saw their ad in the Yellow Pages and their prices were very good. There were no negative reviews on the internet so I thought I could trust that company. They said they could repair my laptop within days or a week but when I didn't hear anything from them after two weeks I called them up. And then I called them about every day for the following 3 months always getting the response that my unit is being worked on but that they cannot give me any information about the status of my laptop. Then I read the first negative reviews on the internet - people saying their credit cards were charged but they never saw their laptops again. So at the end of November 2012 I called them up and when again I got the same sentence I told the guy to just send my property back and that I didn't want their service anymore. After all, who needs 3 months to repair a laptop? And the fact that they kept telling me that my "unit is being worked on right now" was simply a lie. So suddenly they manager of the company was on the phone and said that they are just finishing up my unit and it will be sent the same afternoon. Well, guess what, it never arrived. So since two months I've been calling them every day and every week the guy tells me my unit has just been sent and I just need to wait until they pull up all the tracking numbers so he can get me mine. Well, guess what, no one can ever give me my tracking number for some reasons they make up and my laptop never arrived. One time I called, I even had a panicked employee on the other side who just said he's not even working there, his boss is a crook, he gets about 40 phone calls per hour of people demanding back their property and that I shouldn't call again. Then he hung up on me 3 times.
I will probably visit the police department and contact my lawyer. I still have the original pickup receipt so I can prove that they have my property and that they are holding it back.

  • I just filed a complaint on this guy as well. I also filed one to the Federal Trade Commission and I am filing a police report tomorrow. The recent charges of credit card fraud were sadly dismissed but he's about to get it again. he is a snake and set this company up just to steal from people. I am on a mission to make sure he is stopped-he messed with the wrong(Inappropriate Content Removed)
