According to my copy of the shipping statement I ordered the Peti Spin (RTL) on or about the 8th of January. The shipping copy reflects the order was process on 01/08/2013.
As I spoke with the CSR (customer service rep), I was told of a "savings package" that would contain "vouchers for gasoline savings for up to $100. The CSR explained "in order to receive the savings package with the gasoline vouchers (which were mine to keep;free with the purchase of the savings package in the amount of $1.00, which would electronically deducted from my debit card.
Upon arrival on 01/19/2013, I did not receive the "savings package" nor the "gasoline vouchers".
When placing my order the CSR explained that, "if I looked over the 'savings package' and I decided I would like to continue to receive similar savings packages every month, a preset amount would be debited from my MasterCard monthly for a period of a certain period of time. I can not recall the exact specifics of the time period involved. And I wasnt too concerned as the CSR also informed me that if I was not interested in receiving the "savings packages" that there would b a number I could call to CANCEL my transaction and put a stop to the automatic withdrawals on my account.
Upon careful perusal of the invoice that was delivered with the Pedi Spin that I ordered, There was no such number to contact the returns department nor the contact information needed to cancel this order. The invoice came attached to a return department label, but no other information of as how to contact the company..just a web address. I naturally went to the website and could not find information that would lead me to speaking to a real individual.
I was charged a H/P (handling/processing) fee of $13.98..an astronomical amount considering the object shipped probably weighed a whole of 2 ounces!
So what I received was an "as seen on TV" product that I paid $28.97 and a "free pair of massage booties for my feet for the order. No "savings package with vouchers for free gasoline" and now these people have my debit card information and can steal my money!!!!
It wouldn't be so bad except, I am on a limited income and thought I was getting a deal!! NOT SO!!! I could've walked up the street to Wal-Mart and bought this product for the $10...and not have such a hassle and a bad experience. Whats worse is I now have to contact my bank and request a new card and will receive my direct deposit of my earnings late!!!
I feel like such an idiot! This has definitely made a simple online transaction a fricken nightmare from Hell!!!!
