My husband just got a W2 from this company but he has not worked for them. It was only for $7.36. and it was addressed to a very old address but arrived at our current address today. even if this was a real job he held, the address is wrong so i would have to contact them for a corrected w2 but there is no info to contact them... he swears he never worked for this company.... what gives?!

  • Tell me how to contact the company so we can figure this out... if it is real how do I get a corrected w2 with our real address so we can do our taxes correctly and what did he for the company, when did he work there and how did he get paid? if this is a real scam i want it stopped now because messing with taxes is no joke!

  • Has he ever worked for Wal-Mart?

There was a class action suit filed in 2009 concerning unpaid wages in which Wal-Mart settled.

The settlement document is found here: http://www.walmartmdl.com/pdfs/MDLSettlementAgreement.pdf

If he didn't receive a check in 2012, it may have, either, gotten lost as the QSF (Qualified Settlement Fund) only had the old personal information that Wal-Mart had provided them.

Information on QSFs and how they issue taxation records in the from of W-2s or 1099s can be found here:

I'd recommend talking to your tax preparation provider (I.E H&R Block) to see if they have any knowledge of this issue.

It looks like quite a few people are having this issue, myself included.
