Been buying Claussen pickles for at least 4-5 years at the Kroger Company, Mulberry, Ohio. I opened a jar today for lunch and when I cut the plastic band around the lid it was grainy like it had something around the rim. The seal was hard to open but all the pickles were soft and mushy..... They also didn't taste right so I pictched them.... I buy a jar every week as we and our 3 year old has to have one every day.Just wondering what could have gon wrong and hoe do I know I'm not getting another bad jar?? Cost was $3.79 I think
