We also received a phone call from the same number. The calls were received from 333-839-5036, the callers were so called "custom agents" in Zapopan, Jalisco. They were claiming that our cousin travelling from Ecuador was carrying a large sum of money US$25,000, they have therefore confiscated the money and were requesting $5,000 + for his release. They have persisted for over 2 days. Please be aware and do not fall for this scam, it seems to be quite large, and emotionally draining. We don't know who to report this to, does anyone know? Please post if you have a response - thank you.
