I am in Portland, Or. There was an ad for the rental of a house at Craigslist. I started communicating with them about the house that I was interested in, they sent me pictures and said that they were in Chicago. I said that I would like to move into the house on March 10th, they said it was ok, but I would have to send some money to confirm. I asked to send only the deposit of $500.00. I sent a money order for $500.00 to Eileen Doyle, the persons supposedely sister in Chicago, whery they lived. They then said there was somebody else interested in the house and that in order for me to secure it I would have to send the first months rental... they had too many discrepancies, so I got a feeling that something was wrong. So I called a management company that was in charge of the rent and the house had been rented by them to someone else.
