First guy i talk to said the problem was a software issue and that they could fix the problem remotely without me sending in my computer. He said the charge for this was going to 99.99 and all i had to do was have my computer connected to an internet source and the could run a system diagnostic. Sounds awesome right? well i paid the 99.99 and the guy gave me a confirmation number (6412525). he then transfered me to another guy that told me i needed to take my battery out and he didnt even know how to take the battery out. After sounding like an idiot, he instructed me he was giving me his expertise that it was a hardware issue(without even doing the remote software diagnostic I HAD JUST PAID FOR). He told me I would have to send my computer in to their company to get the problem fixed and it would cost 120. I told him I had an Apple Care Plan and that I could just bring it to the apple store down the street from my house but he told me that would cost more money due to "labor fees" things were getting suspicious so i told him i would just live with the problem.
I then googled apple helpline again and did a google search on the specific address associated to the phone number i called and it led me here.

I then called them back to cancel my account so i wouldnt get charged anymore. The lady said she was going to put me on hold and confirm the cancellation, but before she could i said,"excuse me but dont you at least need to no my name and number if you are going to cancel my account?" She said oh yea. then put me on hold. 5 mintues later returned and said she was still waiting on the confirmation number to go through. 5 minutes later she came back on the line and gave me my confirmation number for the cancellation number for my account this number was.... wait for it... drum roll please..... 6412525!!!!! THE EXACT SAME NUMBER FROM EARLIER! I told her this is the same number i was given earlier. No company gives you the same number for the purchase and cancellation. I then requested that they send me a confirmation email that i would recieve no further charges. She told me that I would recieve one by the end of the day and without giving me time to respond she told me to have a nice day and hung up the phone.
