Its not just the above mentioned that I have been scammed by, it seems all loan companies on the internet are not what they claim to be. You enter a search for a loan, you think you have been accepted and are led to believe that all you have to do is enter your details of your bank and funds will be transferred, after entering your details you then have to wait a minute or two only to be told that you now have a membership to a Broker and that they will take x amount of money when you get a loan, if you wish to withdraw you have to write to the companies within 14 days, also even if you don't get a loan you still have the fees taken, if you did write to them I suspect that the money would still come out of your bank as when looking at how to cancel I have noticed it says they will refund you minus x amount of administration. A Broker should not be able to imitate a loan company until they have your details to then tell you they are brokers, they should not be allowed to imitate loan companies period. Some of them even call you, they do not introduce themselves, they are rude and demand you confirm your identity without even so much as a greeting/introduction, I have taken only one of these calls, I was asked, 'did you apply for a loan for x amount?', they then take further details off you, again, the phone calls work the same, you are led to believe that you are at the time applying for a loan, then they put you on hold when they have your details. After this you are put through to another department and told you have been successful and that they will send you details of loan companies they have found for you. This phone call only took place yesterday 28/02/2013, very fresh in my mind, when they said we have loan companies for you i then asked, is this a brokers? 'yes we are a brokers and you were aware of this when you made your application' I was not even allowed to talk back, I called the number they had called me on several times after they hung up on me for disagreeing with them, to no avail they just would not answer the phone, this is roughly the 6th time it has happened to me in 2 years, I am scared to use the internet now, how is it that a vulnerable person can be treated like this on so many occassions and yet FSA are not doing anything to stop these companies from de-frauding people and bullying them into thinking it is their own fault. FSA also have a big part to play in this for these companies to have been running so long,I am disappointed in the non-deliverance of justice from the FSA, I expect more from Financial Services Authorities.
