Corgi sold the database of registered gas appliances to a company in Scotland called Green Installer, they also sold them the rights to use the Corgi branding, they use the database information to offer boiler insurance to everyone on the database, info which we were forced to provide by law, and we paid them for it too! They avoid legal repurcussions by sending the letters 'dear (boiler name) owner', we gas engineers were sold down the river!
