I, like most people here, wanted to just purchase one pair of shoes because I had a promo code. I didn't read the fine print - which I realize is the one thing that excuses this scam of a company from any blame - but COME ON! What other company has a "membership" program like this that automatically bills you every month for SHOES? Even when you aren't buying any. It's outrageous. Anyway, so when I saw they were charging my account I tried to cancel online. But of course they don't make that easy, and instead of letting you cancel there they make you call to cancel. So I did and I was on hold for 25 minutes "due to an unusually high call volume," which is code for "not enough customer service employees." Then this incredibly rude woman answered and when I told her my situation and that I wanted to cancel she relentlessly tried to get me to stay with the program. I told her I wanted out and I wanted the money charged to my account refunded. She then told me they can only refund charges if the member STAYS in the program. If a member cancels their account then they're not able to refund ANYTHING. WTF is that? There is no way that is legal. So after arguing with this woman for maybe 15 minutes I gave up and told her to keep my stupid money and just cancel my account for good. She still tried to say something shady like, "ok I took off the charge for next month," and I said "ummmm no. I want to never be charged again. I want nothing to do with this company." Then FINALLY she cancelled my account. I am so angry and frustrated that this company is still in business.
