Guy using the name Ronald T. Hess posted an add on Craigslist in Jackson, MS on March 9, 2013 saying that he is a Delta Airlines employee and is selling his one year unlimited employee companion pass for $2,000. Phone number listed is 4702468210

Spoke to him the next day. He explained all the details, said he's a tech working at Atlanta airport since 2001 and its his first time selling his companion pass and he wants to make sure I'm a seasoned flyer and won't cause him any trouble, etc. Sounded very legit.
He also said to make sure I feel safe he can send me all his info, copy of his employee ID and drivers license and any other info I need. Also agree to take half ($1,000) upfront and the other half after I book my first flight. Sounded well spoken and polite on the phone.
We discussed payment and he said MoneyPak would be best. Then I received an email asking me for my personal details for the Delta paperwork and two pictures, one of his employee ID, one of his Georgia drivers license.
Everything sounded ok until you look at the dates. His drivers license shows a birthday in 1983 and its issued in 2009. He man on the picture looks to be in his early to mid 30s. The employee ID is issued in 2001 and has a picture of a man who looks already 45-50 in the picture, and thats in 2001 so by now he should be around 55-60. Hence my tipoff that this is fraud. But looks like this guy is scamming more people as someone posted a complaint two weeks ago about the exact same guy
