I had a life-threatening emergency (a blood clot to my lung) in January of 2009 and went to Cedars-Sinai Emergency Room. I was misdiagnosed and so I left to go to UCLA. My doctor, Paul Silva, M.D. ordered the security gaurds to assault me, and, as I was leaving I was thrown to the floor in the lobby. I sued, and Cedars agreed not to charge me for the visit, since I was injured and they only delayed my care. (I have a videotape of the assault.) Cedars agreed with my lawyer not to charge me, but they did anyway, and now I have a problem with my credit.
