I was on amazon.com when a survey from amazon popped up. Since I use amazon quite often, I decided to fill it out. At the end there were several choices for a free gift that you would be charged shipping only to receive. I chose a green tea dietary supplement from skindiet.net that comes in pill form and supposedly promotes weight loss. This was several weeks ago. I received the pills and was charged for the shipping. Then today I checked my bank account and there was a charge for $89.98 from skindiet.com. When I called the company, I was informed that once they have your payment information, you have 20 days to cancel your account or you will be billed monthly for continued shipments. THIS WAS NOWHERE ON THE WEBSITE WHEN I ORDERED THE FREE SAMPLE. I then expressed the desire to send the in-transit order back and was told that they don't encourage that because the DO NOT provide refunds. So there's $90 that I'll never get back for a product that I did not order on a monthly basis.
