I recently posted an ad on Craigslist to sell some artwork. and gentlemen got back to me and offered to pay for everything including shipping so I gave him my address is he kept texting me and texting me and texting me. finally I thought, this is a little creepy. so I told him I wasn't comfortable doing the transaction any longer. Today I got a check in the mail for 1950 dollars. the check was made out to me and had SPCC written at the top. I'm a single mother and a check like that is pretty tempting. So you can imagine my disdain when I looked up the company name and found all these complaints about fraud in scam checks. but hey add another 1 to the list. I ain't cashing that check!!
