I am an African Americn male and I recently went to the McGinnis sisters store to order 2 fish sandwiches. I arrived at 2:10pm on Monday March 25, 2013. As I entered the store I was greeted by a white male that I placed my order with. It was told to me that my name would be called when my order was ready. I walked around the store and I noticed that I was being followed as if I was going to take something. As time went on I realized that I had been waiting for over an hour and still had not received my order but I heard other people's name being called but not mine. I finally left after being in the store for 1 hour and 25 minutes. I filed a complaiont with the website and expressed that I felt that I was not served because I was an African American. You would think that this does not go on but let me tell you it does racisim is alive and well. I just want people to know that the McGinnis Sisters in Adams Ridge has a problem serving African Americans. The store did call and gave the ususal excuse that they were sorry that it happened and I should have ask to see a manager. My feelings are that I should not have to ask to see a manager when I come into a store to make a purchase because I am Black. Makes no sense to me.
