Was emailed from Craig Barnes to do a Mystery Shop on Western Union accounts. I returned my name and address to him. He shipped a check for $1850.00 to me by UPS Air with instructions to deposit a stated amount into my account as payment for my services and to Western Union the balance to John Ellzy in PA. Then I was to write a report with my customer service experience and send a copy of the receipt via email to [email protected]. I did that on 3/26. On 3/28 the check was returned to the bank marked as fraudulent on the "Swedish Bank". Immediately, my bank marked my account to close and transferred all my balances into the account to cover as much of the fraudulent funds as possible. I now still owe $1665 to the bank due to this scam! The really bad thing is that I have another check that was cashed at my bank for this same scam! The bank it was drawn on was different but I expect that will be returned as well!
